Texas High School DECA Students Headed to State Competition

Texas High School DECA students headed to state competition following recent successes.

According to the press release from the TISD School District, Twelve students received top awards. This happened during the recent District 6 Career Development Conference on January 16 in Pittsburg.

These students will now go to the state competition in Dallas. This will occur February 21st through the 23rd.

Joshua Asher – Quick Serve;

Jasmine Barrera, Carl Oliver and Shavekia Sapp – Public Relations Project;

Lauren Braswell – Innovation Plan;

Garrett Burks – Principles of Finance;

Dallas Finn – Personal Financial Literacy;

Katerina Jordan – Independent Business Plan;

Giovanni Labrada – Personal Financial Literacy;

Trinitee Noel – Start Up Business Plan;

Kaitlyn Rogers – Hospitality & Tourism;

Julia Whitehorn – Financial Consulting.
